Mignaval has been my permanent home in France since January 2008 and is in the commune of St Martin des Olmes, about 6 km to the east of
Ambert.Mignaval is in Department 63, Puy de Dôme, in the region
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.The village is at approximately 800 m (2600 ft) altitude, on the west slopes of the Monts du Forez, in the
Parc Naturel Régional du Livradois Forez.
