About this web site
This web site is where we keep most of our photos, about 19000 at present.
The photos are a reminder of the journeys and holidays we have had but the albums also include many ‘everyday’ photos of our daily life.

A special favourite page is Liz’s account of our rescue of a Tawny Owl at Easter 2020

Mignaval has been our permanent home in France since January 2008 and is in the commune of St Martin des Olmes, about 6 km to the east of Ambert.
We are in Department 63, Puy de Dôme, in the region
Our house is at approximately 800 m (2600 ft) altitude, on the west slopes of the Monts du Forez, in the
Parc Naturel Régional du Livradois Forez.
There are more links to information about the area where we live on our
Appendices page.
